Pacific Madrone Side Grain tables and counters are built with the edge grain of the wood facing up in parallel strips typically measuring between 3/4" and 1-1/4". Side grain construction makes a hard and stable surface ideal for tables and counter tops. Pacific Madrone, a Northwest wood, has colors varying from creamy white to light reddish-brown. Madrone has fine grain and has very little texture. Standard thickness is 1-1/2". Tops are made to order with cut-outs and shaping available. Staggered butt joints may be included in tops longer than 8'.
